Last week, I returned from a trip to Hamburg and its surroundings, to do some research for my Ice Baroness 3 as well as for another future project. I brought home with me not only impressions and insights, moods and thoughts, but also countless photographs – not only novel-related ones.
Just what I needed: a little timeout in the mountains.

June simply has flown by with copyediting my Ice Baroness 2 . On Friday, the manuscript went into typesetting, and I am finally able to take a deep breath, inhaling summer here at the lake.
